1961: Voted best Umpire in the National League
1965: Worked first game at Astrodome
1969: First crew chief for a NLCS game
1970: Umpired last game at Forbes Field and first at Riverfront
1971: Umpire of the Year

1971-93: Scout and Supervisor of Umpires
