1917: Retired as a player

1911-26: Managed Chicago American Giants

1920: Founded National Negro League

1926: Confined to a mental institution

Died: December 9, 1930

1931: NNL collapsed

1981: Elected to Hall of Fame (Negro League Cmte)

2010: USPS issued a Rube Foster stamp
